Day Heisinger-Nixon is a nonbinary trans & disabled poet, essayist, interpreter, and translator. Raised in an ASL-English bilingual home in Fresno, California, Day holds an MA in Deaf Studies from Gallaudet University and is an MFA candidate in Creative Writing: Poetry & Translation at New England College. Their work has been published or is forthcoming in Apogee, Second Factory, Boston Review, Foglifter, and elsewhere. They live in Los Angeles and can be found online at dayheisingernixon.com
